Mikis Theodorakis himself urged Betty to include his monumemtal work Canto General in her repertoire.
In March 2019 Betty Harlafti was invited to Brussels to perform Mikis Theodorakis’ emblematic oratorio Canto General for the 70th Anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights
This was her debut concert of Canto General
After the great success of the sold out debut concerts she has been accepting invitations to perform it inconcerts worldwide, representing the music of the leading Greek coposer.

The iconic work "Epitaph" (1958) by Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis and poet Yannis Ritsos is considered a milestone in Greek discography. This new version, arranged by Yannis Belonis, was presented in 2021 for the first time, broadcasted on Greek National Television ERT and the Greek National Opera, at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre.
